Consumer Law
We represent both consumers in bringing consumer law claims and sometimes we represent businesses in defending them.
If you have been scammed or a seller or others made important promises to you when you were buying your home or your car, or a product or service is not as represented [for instance, a fireproof item is not in fact fireproof] – and those promises never came true, you may have been victimized. Tennessee law prohibits a seller from making deceptive representations to a consumer purchaser and gives the aggrieved consumer the right to file suit, recover treble damages, and be awarded an attorney's fee.
Mr. Craft, a member of the firm, formerly headed the Consumer Protection Division at the Tennessee Attorney General's office. During that time, he brought or was responsible for consumer protection litigation brought by the State.
