Mr. Sheppard is an experienced lawyer with more than 25 years litigation and corporate experience. He has been an executive, litigation manager and general counsel. A graduate of Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1981, Mr. Sheppard is admitted to practice before all Ohio trial and appellate courts, the Ohio Supreme Court, all Tennessee trial and appellate courts, the Tennessee Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Sheppard co-authors a yearly review of the United States Supreme Court decisions for the Tennessee Bar Association and is a member of both the Tennessee and American Bar Associations. He handles complex litigation in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, ERISA, Workers Compensation, Social Secuity, Mass Tort, Commercial Subrogation, and Business Transactions. He has also co-authored a number of articles for the Nashville Business Journal.

Mr. Sheppard is the founder and creator of LawTalk, a community service program designed to improve and expand the understanding of the practice of law. Apart from coaching baseball, he has served as Deacon in his church, President of Civitan, President of Somerset Homeowners Association, and Civitan Baseball Commissioner. He enjoys golf, tennis, writing, and photography, but his current passion is his grandchildren with whom he loves to travel and spend as much time as he can. He lives with his son and wife in Brentwood, Tennessee.
